Workscope:
- Addison Project Plc are seeking applications from PSC Contractors who are Lead Piping Designers to support an upgrade industrial project in Greater London. This opportunity will be based in our Harlow office and requires both office and site presence to ensure the smooth running of the project and client satisfaction.
Services To Be Provided:
- Piping design management of the full design process from concept through to construction, including pipe support design, scopes of work, relaying information to the piping design team, checking of other designer’s work, and communication with sub contractors and vendors.
- The design of piping systems using AutoCad Plant 3D is also required.
Experience Required:
- You must be able to suitably demonstrate experience as either a Principal or Senior Piping Designer or Team Lead who has lead projects or preferably design teams for onshore UK projects in the process sector.
- Experience within the process industry (chemical, petrochemical, food & beverage, oil & gas).
- As an excellent communicator, leader, and mentor you will be confident in liaising with external and internal customers.
- You must have AutoCAD Plant 3D experience.
- You must have up to date knowledge of relevant UK standards.
- You must have the ability to utilise laser scan point clouds.
- You must have the ability to complete site surveys, and create reports and scopes of work.
- You must be confident in writing scopes of work for piping installation.
- You must have the ability to produce check and validate General Arrangement Drawings, Isometric and Pipe Support Drawings.
- You must have experience of complying design and installation estimates.
- Client facing experience where you have been the main discipline point of contact for new and existing scopes is essential.
