  • Role: Electrical Designer
  • Status: Contract 12 months

Addison Project Plc is seeking a (PSC) contractor to provide Electrical Design services for a period of 12 months based in our head office at Thornton Cleveleys.

  • Workscope
  • Electrical Design, including cables and supports
  • Design of electrical (LV) supplies and switchgear
  • Design / Specification of MCC and Layout
  • Preparation of block diagrams, termination diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, earthing diagrams, DB SLD’s.
  • Preparation of I/O & cable schedules
  • Verification & checking of documentation & drawings
  • Communication with Addison Project internal multidiscipline teams
  • Site meetings and surveys

Experience Required

  • You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
  • Experience completing electrical or control and instrumentation design
  • It is essential that you have experience of electrical design with respect to MMC, LV distribution, lighting and earthing preferably within the Chemical, Petrochemical, and/or Oil and Gas sector.
  • A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection and installation of control and electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
  • You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
  • Appreciation of cable calculations.
