We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Daresbury office as part of our process engineering team. This role is well suited to a graduate or developing engineer looking to build hands-on experience across a wide range of UK-based design engineering projects within a high-performing consultancy environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce process calculations, data sheets, and equipment specifications
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs and cause & effect diagrams
- Support the preparation of process philosophies, reports, and schedules
- Assist with plant troubleshooting and site-based investigations
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to assist with technical queries
- Support HAZOP/HAZID preparation and participation
Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Strong technical foundation and willingness to develop professionally
- Familiarity with process design tools and industry regulations
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering safe, fit for purpose, accurate design, completed to cost and programme
- Exposure to work in a multi-discipline team
- Demonstrable experience working on site at a process plant and/or manufacturing plant
