Workscope
Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide Senior Civil and Structural (Design) Engineering services for a period of 12 months, based in Middlesbrough.
Services to be Provided
- Civil and Structural design engineering
- Development of Civil and Structural specifications, reports and calculations
- Production of specifications and authoring of technical reports
- Checking and approval
- Preparation of steelwork and foundation calculations and verification of design
- Development of grading plans, cable ducts, drainage routes, hardstanding and trenches
- Development of scopes of works
- Liaison with discipline designers and multi discipline design engineering teams
- Liaising with Clients and Architect consultants
- Site surveys and client visits
Experience Required
- Chartered status with a relevant UK professional body
- Demonstrable experience in Chemical Plant and Industry buildings design
- Minimum HND Civil & Structural Engineering
- Demonstrable design experience working on Industrial / Petro / Chemical / Pharmaceutical projects
- Experienced in 3D Tekla structures / Autodesk Revit / AutoCAD Advance Steel / 3D AutoCAD is advantageous
- Evidence of Navisworks and 3D point cloud survey experience is advantageous
- Experience with liaison with building control and the required standards
- Experienced in infrastructure adoptable standards
- Prepare Civils / Structural BOQ
- Experience of working with an internal multi-disciplinary design teams and wider client teams
