A part time Payroll Advisor opportunity, up to 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 working days!
As a Payroll Advisor, you will sit in a small team and process end-to-end payrolls for your own specific portfolio of clients. You will be the \βgo to\β person, ensuring compliance as well as dealing with client queries.
Based in Leicester, this opportunity sits within a modern, forward looking accountancy firm with a desire to grow further. They have a supportive team culture and also provide hybrid working from home to work around your daily, personal routines.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a payroll professional, preferably from a client facing environment (practice or bureau) that enjoys variety in their work and is keen to expand their professional competencies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process and manage the payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Onboard new clients and set up pension schemes, submitting pension schedules
- PAYE registrations and auto-enrolment of new employees and leavers
- Liaising and gather data from clients as well as handling HMRC requests
- Year-end P60 forms, declarations and as hoc payroll queries
Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience gained within in accountancy practice or from within a bureau setting is ideal
- Payrollers from within industry will also be considered
- Previous practical knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage or BrightPay
