Role Overview
Manage bookkeeping for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
Process sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations and trial balances.
Prepare VAT and CIS returns, supporting Making Tax Digital compliance.
Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts and reconciliation schedules.
Help clients adopt cloud software and improve processes.
Resolve client queries, meet filing deadlines and support junior colleagues.
The Ideal Candidate
An established bookkeeping background, ideally within accountancy practice.
Confident using Xero or similar cloud accounting software.
Sound knowledge of UK VAT, CIS and Making Tax Digital.
Organised, accurate and comfortable managing client relationships and deadlines.
AAT Level 3/4, ICB or equivalent is desirable; qualified-by-experience applicants are welcome.
What's on Offer
Salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
