You will be joining an ambitious, innovative and fast-growing regional accountancy practice based in Warwickshire.
As Head of Tax, reporting to the Board of Directors, your remit is straightforward:
- Deliver bespoke mixed tax services with a focus on helping clients to achieve their business and personal goals.
- Spearhead the development and growth of the tax offering including building your own team.
- Grow your own career to Tax Director and beyond.
The current client portfolio is rich and varied with unlimited scope for development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Head up the tax department as part of the senior management team.
- Deliver tax advisory, planning, investigations and compliance services to a portfolio of SME businesses and HNW individuals.
- Grow the department and build your own tax team.
- Be the ‘go-to’ person for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant / tax professional – CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Previous tax advisory experience ideally gained within an accountancy practice.
- Technically strong with experience advising and supporting SME businesses and high net worth (HNW) individuals.
- Commercial acumen and desire to progress both personally and professionally.
