Role Overview
- Lead a varied portfolio of audit and accounts clients from planning through to completion
- Manage complex audit assignments including group audits and owner-managed businesses
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing commercial and practical advice
- Review work, oversee quality standards and support audit compliance
- Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the audit team
- Support business development, networking and identifying opportunities to add value to clients.
The Ideal Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong experience managing audit assignments within a UK accountancy practice
- Comfortable reviewing files and maintaining high technical standards
- Confident building lasting client relationships and communicating commercial advice
- Ambitious, proactive and interested in progressing towards Responsible Individual status
- Enjoys working within a collaborative team and supporting the development of others.

- £70,000 - £80,000 base salary
- Hybrid working - typically three days in the office and two from home after probation
