Client Manager (Accountancy)

You'll stay involved in the technical work while broadening your experience in client advice and team leadership. If you enjoy taking ownership and helping others develop, this could be your next move. Role Overview Manage a client portfolio, overseeing accounts, tax and reporting deadlines. Lead client meetings to discuss financial performance and tax positions. Prepare complex accounts and tax computations, and review colleagues' work. Identify tax planning opportunities, involving specialists where appropriate. Plan workloads, delegate tasks and coach colleagues and trainees. Build client relationships and identify opportunities to provide further support. The Ideal Candidate Accountancy practice experience across accounts preparation and tax. Confident explaining financial information and handling client conversations. Comfortable reviewing work, coordinating deadlines and supporting colleagues. Familiar with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or Iris. Commercially aware, with a practical approach to solving problems.
