Role Overview
- Prepare financial statements, tax computations, and VAT returns
- Complete working papers and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Review work of less experienced team members and provide feedback
- Liaise with clients and external bodies such as HMRC
- Support a wide range of clients across sectors including manufacturing, retail, and professional services
- Contribute to the smooth running and success of the business services team
The Ideal Candidate
- Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA, though AAT or QBE backgrounds also considered
- Previous experience in a practice environment
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Confident using Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- A proactive, organised team player who enjoys variety and client interaction
