Role Overview
- Manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, becoming their trusted adviser and main point of contact.
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Review audit files, statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior colleagues, helping them build confidence and progress their careers.
- Work closely with partners on advisory projects, business planning and new opportunities.
- Help shape efficient working practices and contribute to the continued development of the audit team.
The Ideal Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- A strong background in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice.
- Experience leading audits and managing or supervising colleagues.
- Comfortable building relationships with clients and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
- Someone who enjoys developing people, sharing ideas and taking ownership.
- Knowledge of corporate taxation, with experience of charities or academies an added advantage.
