Practice Accountant / Client Manager

Role Overview Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed business clients. Build trusted client relationships and provide proactive accountancy and tax advice. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team. Review accounts and tax work to ensure quality and compliance. Support business development through networking and identifying opportunities. Drive improvements to systems, processes and client service. Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are consistently achieved. The Ideal Candidate ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent. Previous experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice. Confident communicating with clients and building lasting relationships. Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members. Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation. Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service. Audit exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.
