c£57,000.00 per annum

c£51,500.00 basic pay + c£5,600.00 annual profit‑share bonus (paid quarterly: c£1,400.00)

Hourly rates breakdown:

• 40 hours x £18.00 = £720.00 x 52 weeks = £37,440.00 (Contracted Basic Hours)
• 7.5 hours x £27.00 = £202.50 x 52 weeks = £10,530.00 (Contracted Overtime Rate)
• 5 hours x £27.00 = £135.00 x 26 weeks = £3,510.00 (Contracted Alternate Saturday Mornings)

Average earnings per annum: £51,480.00

Additional overtime available. Hours before 7:00 am are paid at double time (£36.00 per hour).

About the Company

The company is a specialist in commercial vehicle rental with six depots and fully equipped workshops in the North and South of England. It operates in excess of 2,000 vehicles, of which 1,000 are above 3.5 tons.

About the Role

The HGV Technician will carry out inspection, service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles safely and professionally. The role reports directly to the Workshop Manager and involves investigating and diagnosing faults, reporting findings, and performing repairs to current manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics
• Experience with tippers, tipper grabs, beaver tails, or gully trucks
• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV licence

Training

Essential skills are not required – training will be provided.
