We are a leading adhesive tape and flexible materials manufacturer, creating bespoke solutions for multiple markets. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in maintaining the highest standards across our operations.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination and integration of our supply chain activities, from procurement to delivery. You will lead a dedicated supply chain team and will also work closely with various departments to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve lead times.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, compliance and contract management, to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Co-ordinate Production planning processes, balancing needs of customers and production workload/capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, sales, and finance, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, and on-time delivery, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisation.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions, implementing contingency plans, and establishing strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
Essential:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, with an experience of driving operational excellence and cost savings.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, demand planning software, and data analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of collaboration and drive results.
