Adderstone Management Limited provides professional services, including legal services, to the wider Adderstone Group. The in-house legal function comprises four solicitors and three paralegals. We are looking to expand the team by appointing a fifth solicitor. The Adderstone Group holds a national portfolio of investment assets worth c. £200 million across the office, retail, leisure, logistics and residential sectors. The Adderstone Group also delivers regeneration and development projects and includes specialist contracting businesses, Adderstone Living, Adderstone Civils and Adderstone Nova.
Our legal team has exposure to high value, varied and complex work – the majority of which is delivered in-house. AML is based at the Adderstone Group’s recently refurbished head office in The Fleming which is a short distance from the city centre and Jesmond metro station. This is a full time, permanent role and will be office based.
Essential experience:
- At least three years’ post qualification commercial property and/or construction experience, ideally within a regional or national firm.
- There is no limit to the PQE that will be considered for this role.
- Exposure to landlord and tenant, acquisitions/disposals and secured lending.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to gain experience in other work types.
Desirable experience:
- Commercial litigation experience gained post qualification or from a strong training seat.
- Experience of debt/equity corporate joint ventures.
- Exposure to developer and/or institutional investor clients.
