b Overview /b p In this role you apply AI to build agentic systems from idea to production, directly impacting client workflows. You’ll partner with clients and engineering to prototype, evaluate, and ship AI capabilities at scale. You work close to end users to ensure usefulness and iterate rapidly as the product and your skills grow. The position blends hands-on development with client engagement in a fast, evolving team that shapes what we ship. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build end-to-end AI-powered agents and tools from problem discovery to production /li li Design and integrate LLM features including prompt engineering, function calling, and retrieval-augmented workflows /li li Define evaluation criteria and create test harnesses for domain-specific AI systems /li li Collaborate with clients to understand workflows, validate AI behavior, and iterate toward production quality /li li Partner with core engineering to generalize client work into reusable product features /li li Contribute to shared AI infrastructure (agent frameworks, tool integrations, deployment pipelines) /li li Monitor and maintain production AI systems focusing on reliability, cost, and performance /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Extensive professional software engineering experience /li li Professional experience with Python (teams primary language) /li li Experience with LLM APIs (Claude, GPT, or similar) including function calling and structured outputs /li li Comfort with SQL for data exploration and data-grounded AI workflows /li li Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) /li li Built something from zero to one with a bias for action and production mindset /li li BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience /li /ul ul li Client-facing communication /li li Bias for action /li li Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams /li li Python /li li LLM APIs (Claude, GPT or similar) with function calling and structured outputs /li li SQL /li /ul
