  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and other designers across our platform to navigate structures and information hierarchies that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, define user mental models and jobs-to-be-done, and refine information architecture and user experience based on data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical leads to understand and align data modelling context with your information architecture strategy.
  • Create diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate design concepts effectively and facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Champion a user-centred design approach across all stages of the product development process, ensuring that information architecture is consistently integrated into product designs.
  • Build alignment across disparate teams, each maintaining separate priorities and goals, to deliver an integrated platform experience.
  • Define and maintain information architecture standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across all products.
  • Conduct regular audits and user testing to identify improvement areas and make enhancement recommendations.
  • Promote your vision and plan across the organisation, working with senior leadership to build alignment across teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to foster innovation within the team.

Who You Are

  • Ideally, you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience as a Product Designer or Information Architect, preferably in the fintech or complex data digital spaces.
  • Proven experience driving significant information architecture updates for a B2B SaaS platform.
  • A portfolio showcasing proven user-centred information architecture design practices and a high degree of design craftsmanship.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing information architecture for complex products or systems.
