The Role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Billing Team!

We’re building a scalable, feature-rich billing system for wealth management firms of all sizes. The platform will enable our clients to accurately bill for their services by managing their fee structures, bill their clients & reconcile the payments received.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who will be a part of a dynamic team that creates high quality software using engineering best practices to deliver an industry leading product. Must be passionate about building rich user experiences, efficient and scalable backends while working collaboratively with our cross-functional team of product managers and designers to deliver a fantastic product to our customers.

Our engineering stack is primarily composed of a Java backend with an Ember frontend; however we don’t require experience with any specific tool set. We use Agile methodologies to deliver impactful business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with designers and product owners to design and deliver significant features on our platform.
  • Develop pragmatic solutions to sophisticated problems.
  • Contribute to our inclusive and dynamic engineering culture.
  • Advocate for standard methodologies and process improvements.

Who You Are

  • Prior experience as a professional software engineer.
  • Experience using an object-oriented language, preferably Java.
  • HTTP, REST and web API scaling best practices.
  • SQL, relational databases and key-value stores.
  • Collaborative approach to building feature-rich user experiences
  • Experienced in finance and a public cloud environment is a plus
