An established residential development is looking for an experienced Residential Development Manager to take full ownership of a large-scale, mixed-use site. This role sits at the heart of operations, ensuring residents, clients, and stakeholders receive a consistently high standard of service.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Reading
  • Package: DOE
  • Industry: Residential Property / Block Management
  • Site Size: 765 residential units
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm - site based

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day management of a large residential development
  • Leading asset management activities, ensuring contracts, risk, and compliance processes are effectively maintained
  • Managing mobilisation activity, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring all actions are completed accurately and on time
  • Overseeing risk assessments, PPM schedules, and compliance documentation
  • Managing contractor performance, including tendering, implementation, and value-for-money reviews
  • Maintaining accurate records, audit trails, and reporting across all operational areas
  • Leading and motivating an on-site team, ensuring strong engagement and service delivery
  • Managing rotas, holidays, sickness cover, and team performance
  • Conducting regular one-to-ones and annual appraisals
  • Supporting financial management by managing budgets and monitoring expenditure
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for residents and stakeholders, resolving issues professionally and efficiently
