Concierge Team Member Location: Reading Salary: Competitive salary DOE Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm, 4 days on / 4 days off (including weekends and Bank Holidays) About the Rol eOur client is seeking a professional, customer-focused Concierge Team Member to join their residential development in Reading . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Whilst previous concierge experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. Candidates from hospitality, hotels, leisure, retail, customer service, front-of-house, aviation, events or similar customer-facing environments are encouraged to appl y. As the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional and highly responsive environment. You will be passionate about customer experience and committed to maintaining the highest standards across the developme nt. Key Responsibilit ies:Front of House & Resident Serv icesDeliver a first-class front-of-house and concierge service to residents, visitors and contract ors.Provide a warm, professional meet-and-greet experience at all ti mes.Handle resident enquiries, requests and complaints efficiently and empathetica lly.Answer telephone calls and emails professionally and promp tly.Build positive relationships with residents and become a trusted point of contact within the developm ent.Maintain a visible and approachable presence throughout the s ite. Operational Su pportAssist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the develop ment.Support the onboarding and handover of new phases within the develop ment.Liaise with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure service standards are mainta ined.Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as requ ired.Support compliance, health & safety and risk management processes across the site. Health & SafetyHelp maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors and colle agues.Carry out routine checks and inspections in line with site proce dures.Report any concerns, incidents or maintenance issues pro mptly.Ensure compliance records and documentation are maintained accur ately. Teamwork & Commun icationWork closely with the wider site and managemen t team.Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to supporting coll eagues.Contribute positively to the overall resident experience and community atmo sphere. A bout YouTo be successful in this role, you wi ll have:Previous experience within a customer-faci ng role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A friendly, approachable and professional manner.The ability to remain calm and solution-focused when dealing with challenging sit uations.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Good IT skills and confidence using internal systems.A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.The flexibility to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
