Location: Bottisham, Cambridge, CB25 9BD Contract: Permanent Hours: Full time Salary: Competitive Mobile role across the East Anglia Area at blue chip companies. We are seeking a skilled engineer with particular experience in Chillers, predominantly specialising in the maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial chiller systems. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of various chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled units. There will also be the opportunity to commission new chillers. Within the role you will be required to attend client meetings alongside our service manager to keep the client informed in what has been done retrospectively and future requirements. We do require the engineer to be able to not only diagnose faults and carry out repairs to the chiller itself but also the mechanical aspect of the plant, this to include pumps, strainers and valves. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES Perform routine servicing, inspections, and emergency repairs on chillers. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions. Commission new chiller systems as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and F-Gas standards. Produce well-structured engineering reports with detailed operating logs from all sites and jobs attended REQUIREMENTS F Gas category 1 Experience in Turbocor and manufacturers controls setup Able to work unsupervised Clean Driving license Willing to travel Must be computer literate and able to use a tablet Great attitude, willingness to learn and develop Experience of working with split, VRV & VRF systems desired Due to the safeguarding requirements of our customers, many of whom are schools or hospitals, we complete confidential criminal record checks on all roles that attend customer sites.
