This is an ideal opportunity for someone with the right experience, based in or around Norwich.

What you'll be doing:

As a contracts engineer you will be responsible for project managing the installation of refrigeration, air handling and air conditioning. You will apply your technical skills and organisational skills to make sure we deliver an outstanding customer service, meeting the unique requirements of each job. A very important part of your role will be to make sure that all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are being followed. Your days will vary - sometimes you may be in the office for most of the day, other days you will be visiting customer sites to plan a job, advise the installation team or to solve problems. You will be the main contact point for customers from initial order until commissioning. You will also work closely with our in-house installation engineers as well as sub-contractors.

What do you need to have?

  • Technical skills and knowledge as a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer are essential.
  • Experience in supervising or overseeing installation of refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and / or AHU's would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • A friendly, professional manner and the ability to form strong business relationships with a wide range of customers, colleagues and sub-contractors.
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office 365.
  • A clean, current driving licence and a willingness to travel to sites.
  • Based in or around King's Lynn or Norwich, Norfolk.

Due to the safeguarding requirements of our customers, many of whom are schools or hospitals, we complete confidential criminal record checks on all roles that attend customer sites. If you are successful, you will be required to complete a DBS check. We strictly follow the DBS code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If you have a criminal record, this will not necessarily preclude you from working for us.
