We are offering a unique opportunity for a trainee to gain on-the-job training whilst attending our bespoke, City & Guilds accredited training centre. The aim is to become a highly skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer. For over sixty years, Adcock has delivered outstanding service to our clients. What you’ll learn
Working alongside experienced engineers on a daily basis, you’ll learn on-the-job skills while servicing and maintaining refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. You will attend our in-house bespoke training centre in King's Lynn at least once a month in one- to two-week blocks. After gaining experience, you may join our state-of-the-art training centre in King's Lynn, where you’ll combine classroom teaching and home study with written assignments and on-site assessments for approximately 18 months. Once you successfully complete the course you will be awarded a City & Guilds accredited certificate issued with an Adcock van and will continue to learn as you gain experience.
What you need to have
- Basic skills: a minimum Level 5 (C) in English and Maths or equivalent through prior learning.
- Own transport and ability to travel to branch or meeting points.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Full-time commitment, including early starts, later finishes or working away if required.
- Training fully funded by Adcock, subject to a Training Funding Agreement.
- Experience in a construction-based role is an advantage but not essential.
