Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The Role

You’ll be joining a small, close-knit admin team, several of whom have been with the business for many years.

Providing day-to-day support across our Service and Maintenance departments.

The role has a steady rhythm with familiar, recurring tasks and you’ll be expected to get on with things independently rather than waiting to be directed.

It suits someone who takes quiet pride in doing their job well and keeping things ticking over reliably.

You’ll need to have previous administrative experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering calls and handling customer and engineer queries professionally and efficiently
  • Sending service and maintenance worksheets to customers
  • Logging service calls and helping coordinate engineer attendance
  • Requesting and chasing purchase orders
  • Sending daily job information to engineers
  • Updating records on our management system
  • Assisting with maintenance contract renewals
  • Portal and database administration, permits & RAMS
  • Covering colleagues across the admin team during holidays and absences

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, adaptable, and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Previous administrative experience in a busy and reactive environment.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using databases or business management systems (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and respond calmly to changing demands.
  • A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
