Adco Crane Hire Ltd, based in Grimsby, is seeking a skilled, reliable, and safety-focused Crane Operator to join our growing team. This role is central to our operations, responsible for carrying out lifting duties safely and efficiently across a variety of sites nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile cranes in accordance with lift plans, site requirements, and all safety regulations.
  • Carry out lifting, rigging, and de-rigging duties safely and efficiently.
  • Complete pre-use inspections and ensure the crane is in safe working condition at all times.
  • Work closely with slingers/signallers and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Accurately complete Proof of Hire sheets and record all working hours in line with company procedures.
  • Attend various sites across the UK and adapt to changing job requirements.
  • Follow all company procedures, health & safety regulations, and report any defects or concerns immediately.
