Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager with a solid foundation in project management and a few years of hands-on experience delivering software deployment projects. You will oversee the delivery of software deployment projects for our global airport clients, ensuring alignment with our company’s core values. You will drive collaboration across teams, maintain a customer-focused approach, and deliver exceptional results.

You will make an impact by…

• Taking full accountability for planning, executing, and delivering software deployment projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and progress reports, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
• Rigorously utilising the company’s best practice processes and in line with all policies.
• Establishing and maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively monitoring project risks / opportunities, implementing mitigation / capture strategies, and adapting plans as required to ensure successful outcomes.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, deeply understanding their needs and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Ensuring that customers’ requirements originating from contracts are delivered to the Product Development Team in accordance with the Company’s processes.
• Supporting post-implementation activities, including client training, documentation, and issue resolution, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical staff, third party local partners and external stakeholders, to achieve shared goals.
• Facilitating regular progress and status updates, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Depending on the contract structure, collaborating with the Programme Manager from ADB SAFEGATE Region to manage the delivery of one or more Work Packages.
• Providing pre-sales support for opportunities and/or acting as the Opportunity Manager for specific opportunities as defined within the company’s Opportunity Management Framework.
• Mentoring and empowering team members, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and accountability.
• Promoting continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining project management processes.

The talent we want to inspire has…

• Proven experience managing complex, business-critical, real-time software implementation projects, ideally 6-12 months in duration, with a strong focus on accountability and ownership of deliverables.
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships and align diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a varied team of supporting roles and resources while seeking out ambiguity and clearly setting and managing expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes while balancing competing internal priorities.
• Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate and exceed client expectations.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to hold and read an audience and adapt to the situation.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work overseas (typically 1- or 2-week trips at a time as dictated by the project schedule).
• This would be a plus but not a must!
• Additional language skills, especially Spanish or Portuguese, to enhance client relationships and collaboration.
• Experience working in or delivering software solutions for airports or the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, MS Excel, SAP).
• Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities, with a growth mindset and ability to inspire others.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment while driving excellence and achieving results.
• An IT or systems engineering background.
• Experience of international working, including appreciation of the importance of understanding and meeting local legislative and cultural requirements.
