We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Technical Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to airports across the UK and Ireland, performing interventions in a variety of challenging scenarios. You will deliver preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for a wide range of airfield and gate products, both onsite and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical support and expertise at airports across the UK & Ireland.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of airfield and gate products.
  • Provide remote support through VPN services as needed.
  • Act as a key player in airport projects, including test and commissioning activities for installations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with internal departments, reporting on field experiences.
  • Perform problem‑solving and root cause analysis for hardware and software systems.
  • Handle support matters for advanced airport solutions, including ILCMS, ALCMS, and Apron management systems.
  • Provide first‑line support to customers and commission 1st party products onsite and remotely.
  • Participate in stand‑by duties as required (with extra pay).
  • Travel as needed within the UK and Ireland.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Electrical engineering background and experience.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience, or demonstrable skills if less experienced.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, commissioning tools, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Knowledge of UK Health and Safety rules and regulations (CSCS Qualification).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
Nice to Have:
  • Awareness of aviation rules and regulations (e.g., ICAO).
  • Knowledge of networking systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols.
  • Experience with collaboration software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, SAP, MS Teams, Office 365).
  • Proactive, hands‑on approach.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Job specificities

Your primary terrain of work’s is the wider UK and Ireland area. You will be required to travel for work if needed, depending on the Service activities you are assigned to. Due to the nature of the business, you will occasionally participate in stand‑by duties, for which you are eligible for extra pay.
