Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Band 7) SCP 8-11, Β£16,175.55 β Β£16,970.64 per annum β based upon working 25 hours per week. The actual working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate (minimum 25 hrs per week), term time only plus PD Days (195 days per year). Working Schedule to be agreed with the successful candidate. Acting up arrangement which will end on 31st August 2027. To commence as soon as possible.
The school wishes to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative HLTA to support the learning of pupils. The post will be based within the Key Stage 1 phase.
Applicants will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. The school is looking for an applicant with excellent communication and ICT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and who is able to follow teachersβ plans and take the initiative when appropriate.
The successful candidate will work with Key Stage 1 teachers to support teaching and learning through leading on the provision of specialist support to both the teacher and school, by covering classes and interventions as required, alongside supporting learning within the classroom.
Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
