Band 3 β Spinal Column Point 3, Β£1,748.11 per annum. 3 hours per week, term time only (190 days per year). Permanent.
Required working schedule: Thursday, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Deaf Hill Primary School wishes to appoint a cleaner, to assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the school. This post will commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will undertake all cleaning duties concerned with the operation of the school, i.e. sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting designated areas, which include toilets and associated facilities, fixtures and fittings.
At key points in the year the school will undertake a deep clean and overtime will be available for this exercise to be undertaken.
Candidates will have experience of working in a cleaning role, and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
Deaf Hill Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As such the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).
