ADAS, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an Assistant Ecological Consultant to join our highly skilled ecology team on a full time basis .

This is a hybrid home and office-based position with flexibility in the split. We are seeking applicants commutable to our office in Wolverhampton .

Responsibilities

Undertake baseline habitat surveys, assessments and reports

Work alone and with our existing ecologists in the wider region to ensure quality projects are delivered on time for our clients

Talk to our clients to ensure quality delivery of projects to deadlines

Write technical reports ready for review by your colleagues, such as ecological constraints reports, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and protected species reports

Support the team with business development and project management

Person Specification

Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and within a commutable distance to our office

Demonstrable experience of ecological consultancy work, including leading on surveys and managing projects

Good working knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation

Previous ecology related experience

Graduate level education in a relevant subject

Excellent written communication skills and be able to produce accurate technical reports to a professional standard
