Want to be part of a team transforming healthcare? We are seeking a collaborative team player who excels at seeing the big picture, understanding diverse perspectives, and embracing new challenges to enhance our cybersecurity capabilities as our Product Cyber Security Engineer. As part of the DevOps team, your primary focus will be on ensuring the security of our products and production services. Additionally, you will engage with various stakeholders to improve the cybersecurity stance of our business systems. Combining expert knowledge in the field of cybersecurity with systems thinking and a pragmatic approach, you will work effectively with diverse individuals across the organization to make security a core component of our operations. Your contributions will help improve processes and drive security standards.
The Company Medical imaging helps patients by enabling early and accurate diagnosis. However, 2D X-rays can be inconclusive as they give a fundamentally limited view of our 3D bodies. 3D images are possible with CT scanners but these are much more expensive, give a higher dose of radiation and moving a critically ill patient to a scanner can be labour-intensive and risky. At Adaptix we are helping make 3D imaging more accessible to the people who need it by producing mobile flat-panel X-ray systems that can be brought to patients – giving low-cost, low-dose imaging.
Candidate Profile As our ideal candidate, you will have a minimum qualification of a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, along with demonstrable practical experience in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity lifecycle activities for our 3D X-Ray imaging products and supporting services, in accordance with applicable standards such as BS EN IEC 81001-5-1, including vulnerability monitoring, triage and risk management.

- Drive continuous improvement in the secure design and development of our products across different verticals including medical and veterinary imaging, and non-destructive testing.

- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant cyber threats, trends and publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, acting as a subject matter expert.
