  • Extensive hand-on experience of managing agile delivery projects (essential)
  • Jira PM tool proficiency (essential)
  • Domain Knowledge - Investment Banking/Front Office Trading Platforms (essential)
  • Foreign Exchange (desirable)
  • Agile SAFe (desirable)

AS A PM YOU WILL ENSURE THAT:

  • The project that you are overseeing is executed as planned
  • The project you are overseeing achieves both our customer's and Adaptive's goals
  • Clients are engaged and informed, and ultimately satisfied
  • The team has a clear understanding of the project goals and their place within the project, and are empowered to deliver on our commitments
  • Processes are tailored in accordance with the team structure and align with Client requirements
  • We work collaboratively with our clients to identify, agree, and document the scope
  • There is a clear, defined, up-to-date delivery plan
  • Stakeholders have accurate and timely updates on milestones and progress against the plan
  • Project risk is actively managed and mitigated
  • You promote a Servant Leader mindset, empowering highly-skilled team members to deliver their best, and involve them in decision making
  • You understand various software concepts, and use them to discuss problems and orchestrate strategy with various talents in the team
  • You work with globally distributed teams, and ensure location is no barrier to progression
  • You regularly lend an ear to your team members, listening to what they have to say about their job satisfaction, their aspirations
  • You actively manage the client’s expectations, make assumptions explicit, and create an audit trail of important decisions throughout the engagement
  • You liaise with the Engagement Manager to define & implement the communication plan
  • You report project status on a weekly basis
  • You provide a supportive environment where the team’s wellbeing is a priority, and a key part of driving long term success
  • You check in with the team members regularly and manage/escalate any concerns early so steps can be taken to ensure our colleague’s wellbeing is protected
  • You elevate issues to the respective Engagement Manager in a timely manner to ensure aligned communications, and present the best face of Adaptive to clients

THE PROCESS:
