We are looking for a Senior Engagement Manager to join our London team and serve as the senior delivery face of Adaptive to our clients, managing longāterm relationships and ensuring alignment between client goals and our services.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior delivery face, managing longāterm client relationships and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as escalation point for any issues.
- Lead commercial, contractual and renewal discussions, coordinating with sales as appropriate.
- Accountable for a portfolio of engagements of varying size and complexity.
- Provide necessary leadership, management and support for successful delivery and team welfare.
- Oversee delivery of projects, manage people, schedule, budget and risks when a Programme or Project Manager is allocated.
- Act as escalation point for project issues.
- When a Delivery Lead is allocated, manage delivery and governance, including planning, estimating, RAIDs, audit trail and meeting structures.
- Manage resource and financial details: forecasts, timesheets, expenses, invoicing and spend vs budget.
- Serve as client escalation contact and participate in regular client reviews.
- When no Delivery Lead is allocated, lead the Adaptive resources stationed on the engagement, ensuring vision, communication, morale, culture and social events are maintained.
- Work with Delivery Leads and Head of Delivery to manage local resourcing of PMs and Delivery Leads.
- Identify gaps and recruit new hires in collaboration with Head of Delivery, Local Director and HR.
- Support welfare of local practice members, monitor concerns and manage resolution.
- Contribute to performance management, recognise performance and develop remediation plans where necessary.
- Mentor team members on the Career Progression Framework and support compensation reviews.
- Prepare and maintain preāsales materials; attend sales meetings and client calls to demonstrate expertise.
- Participate in proposal and estimation processes; write/review Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
- Engage with the tech community as an expert, present at conferences, contribute to online communities, coordinate blog, white papers and brownābag sessions.
- Collaborate with relevant groups, build consensus, own rollāout and change management, monitor adoption and remediate issues.
