Senior Java Developer - London (Contract Outside IR35) in City of London

Services Required

• A JVM lover who enjoys the latest technologies and design patterns.
• Eager to solve complex technical challenges, especially in cloud‑based and event‑driven architecture.
• Experienced within the Fintech industry.

Experience

• Significant, professional server‑side software development experience.
• Solid experience programming using Core Java; exposure to Java 17+ a plus.
• General familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, caches.
• Experience developing Front Office financial systems, E‑Trading and FIX.
• Experience delivering OMS/EMS/Exchange systems.
• Exposure to equities trading & brokerage.
• General knowledge of data injection/inversion of control.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
