About the Role
We are currently recruiting an Administrator to join a well-established and friendly professional services office in Lancaster. This is a busy, varied role supporting key stakeholders and the wider team, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of office operations and providing high-quality administrative support. This is a site-based role, therefore candidates must be commutable to the Lancaster office.
You will work closely with the administration team and Office Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, delivering efficient, confidential and proactive support across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across the office
- Prepare letters, reports, presentations, internal correspondence, and file notes
- Use internal systems (including CCH) to support efficient office administration
- Assist with the preparation of finalised client accounts
- Provide reception cover when required
- Carry out general office administration, including scanning and mail handling
- Maintain confidentiality and represent the business professionally at all times
- Support ad-hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administration or office support role (or similar transferable experience)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook essential)
- Confident using IT systems with the ability to learn new software
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach
