About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Insurance Broker to join a well-established, high-performing team focused on providing exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. This is a relationship-led role, ideal for a broker who enjoys working with complex, bespoke household and personal insurance portfolios, including multi-property and high-value assets. You will work closely with clients and insurers, providing tailored advice, managing renewals and handling complex policies with confidence. There is scope for leadership and supervisory responsibilities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing expert advice on bespoke insurance solutions
- Handle complex policies including multi-property, multi-vehicle, and specialist risks
- Prepare and issue new policies, mid-term adjustments, and renewals in line with timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms and premiums where appropriate
- Meet with clients for reviews and attend insurer appraisals as needed
- Support claims handling and represent clients requirements accurately
- Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and reporting within company procedures
- Attend technical training, CPD courses, and insurer events as required
What We're Looking For
- Good experience in private client, household, or high-value insurance
- Strong communication skills with clients, insurers, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of insurance broking systems (e.g., Acturis)
- Negotiation and influencing
- Professional approach with strong customer service awareness
- CII qualifications or working towards them are desirable but not essential
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
