In this QA Lead role, you will shape the testing strategy for high-impact financial technology projects. You’ll lead QA efforts within a collaborative engineering culture, ensuring quality is everyone’s responsibility. You will drive test design, automation, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable front-office solutions. You will partner with development, DevOps, and stakeholders to maximize test coverage and accelerate delivery. This position offers the chance to influence quality practices at Adaptive and grow within a high-standard, inclusive team.

Responsibilities
- Propose, create and enhance the project’s test strategy with a focus on test automation
- Question and challenge existing testing practices while promoting QA best practices
- Educate the team to foster a quality-centric culture and focus on value-added testing
- Collaborate with the client and team to address complex testing challenges
- Define and improve QA processes according to project needs
- Provide guidance and support to the QA team in related activities
- Develop a solid understanding of business, technical, and operational requirements
- Design, maintain and execute test cases and analyze results
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance automated tests and maximize coverage
- Work with Dev and DevOps to improve test automation tools and solutions
Key requirements
- Significant experience in a QA lead role
- Ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs
- Experience with TDD/BDD and Test Automation
- Knowledge of Agile SDLC and QA’s role within it
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders
