We are now looking for Business Analyst services for an exciting project to design, build, and deploy a greenfield market‐making platform!
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES:
- Help stakeholders in making their vision for the product materialize, especially in the early stages of each delivery phase – i.e. requirements solicitation and discovery.
- Convey that vision to the Adaptive team and define clear milestones for alignment purposes, so they can make holistic design decisions that will support the delivery.
- Create & maintain a backlog of deliverable stories for the Adaptive team.
- Be the stakeholders' proxy in the team, able to make quick, firm decisions when it comes to scope, requirements and prioritization/triage.
- Involve Adaptive team members when their perspective can bring value, including times when it can support scope and priority decisions.
- Follow up during the implementation and testing phases to ensure delivery satisfies the requirements.
- Drive the backlog review and estimation process and take part in planning activities.
- Capture non‐functional requirements and keep supportability in mind.
- Define acceptance criteria and tests up front as part of a Business‐Driven Development approach.
- Use experience with Agile delivery to take advantage of its strengths and mitigate its potential risks.
- Work with distributed teams.
THE INDIVIDUAL/S PROVIDING THE SERVICES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
- Front office stakeholder relationship management.
- Delivering in an agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Some experience with QA/Business Acceptance Testing.
- Some experience working with UX designers.
- Some knowledge of client onboarding, client tiering, KYC.
- Understanding various software concepts to discuss problems and orchestrate project strategy (including but not limited to: real‐time programming, high availability, TDD, BDD, UX design, DevOps concerns).
EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience with exchange business models and operations.
- Order types and time in force combinations and their resultant behaviours.

- Matching engine risk and settlement models.
- Auctions and other market states.
- Market data & market data distribution.

- Institutional collateral management and settlement.

RETAIL BROKERAGE KNOWLEDGE:
- Experience with retail broker business models and operations.
- Retail collateralisation models.
- Order management.
- Position tracking.
- Retail risk controls.

- Order Execution (A book, B book, internalisation, straight through processing).
- Spot, CFDs, Futures, Perpetual Futures (Crypto).
- Commission Models.
