Are you mechanically minded, comfortable using basic hand tools and interested in developing a practical engineering career? We are supporting a growing engineering business looking to recruit a Trainee Mechanical Installation Engineer. Previous experience installing ductwork or ventilation systems is not required, as training will be provided. This could be an excellent opportunity for an early-career candidate who has gained practical experience as a labourer, trades mate, installer, mechanical assistant or similar. It may also suit someone with a mechanical engineering qualification or a strong hands-on interest in machinery and engineering. The role Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help install mechanical ventilation and extraction systems, ductwork and workshop machinery at customer sites.
