Our client, a well-established, specialist flooring company based in Glasgow, is recruiting for a Sales Specialist, this is a maternity cover role. The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality LVT, wood, carpet and laminate flooring solutions to residential customers. They are known for their exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge and hands-on approach. They are a growing and ambitious company with a loyal client base and strong local presence. This opportunity will be to cover a high-performing team member, so we are looking for someone who can step in, make an impact and continue delivering the excellent service their customers expect and are accustomed to. The duration will be for 9 months and we are looking at flexibility in terms of both full-time and part-time arrangements.

The Role

As a Sales Specialist, you will be the face of the business, guiding customers through their flooring journey from initial enquiry to installation. You will:

  • Engage with customers in-store, over the phone and via email to understand their needs
  • Provide expert advice on LVT, wood, carpet and laminate flooring solutions
  • Conduct home visits to measure spaces and provide tailored recommendations
