An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Accounts Senior to join a leading and highly regarded SME-focused accountancy practice in Glasgow. This is a fantastic role for an ambitious ACA / ACCA / CA qualified professional looking to continue developing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. You will begin taking ownership of your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners in delivering a high-quality client service. The successful candidate will enjoy building strong client relationships and supporting businesses with accounting and advisory needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory accounts for a broad client base
- Supporting clients from an accounting and advisory perspective
- Developing strong and lasting client relationships
- Working closely with managers and partners across the wider team
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Managing chargeable time and working towards utilisation targets
- Ensuring accurate timesheet and work recording
- Assisting with the fee preparation process
- Working both independently and collaboratively within the team
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CA newly qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
