Engineering Services company covering Central Scotland seeks a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or similar to join their Local Exhaust Ventilation team. Full training and certifications will be provided for the successful candidate. Role will suit a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate (college or uni) who is looking for a career in the Industrial Engineering sector. Would also suit a time served apprentice looking for something new. End clients include manufacturers / factories, industrial engineering firms and workshops. Role will see you travelling to client sites across the central belt of Scotland to test and certify LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems. Initially shadowing an experienced team member you\’ll be trained up on process before eventually going out on your own jobs. Company van is provided (available for personal use also) along with a 6mth training plan and salary increase on completion. The Role * Perform tests and assessments of LEV systems to verify compliance with industry standards. * Compile comprehensive reports detailing the performance and safety of LEV systems. * Travel to client sites to conduct testing and servicing activities. * Coordinate with installation and servicing teams to ensure smooth operational workflows. Skills / Experience sought includes:- * Mechanical engineering degree or HND (or time served apprenticeship) * Any experience / interest in exhaust or ventilation systems * Full UK driving license * Good client facing skills In return you\’ll benefit from highly secure employment with a growing engineering firm, in-depth training and a good benefits package.
