We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to join our clients fantastic team in Glasgow. This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, lead and develop a team and contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

As a Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients while overseeing the delivery of work across your team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high service standards, driving profitability, and building strong, long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and take full ownership of a client portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact
  • Oversee and support delivery across team portfolios, ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Plan and manage workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and utilisation targets are met
  • Deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services, with support from senior leadership on complex technical matters
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing proactive advice and support
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, escalating where appropriate
  • Lead, coach, and mentor junior team members, supporting their development
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a wider team
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outputs and client service

About You:

  • ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio within practice
  • Strong background working with clients across a range of industries
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and mentoring
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
