Adaptable Recruitment are excited to be working with a well established organisation in South Warrington who is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Salary and Benefits
- Up to £32,000 per annum
- Hybrid working policy in place (one day from home)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing and posting, coding all supplier invoices in Sage.
- Producing a list of suggested payments for authorisation weekly taking into consideration terms and due dates.
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts and cross checks to supplier statements.
- Accurate allocation of costs across the different departments and sites.
- Assisting the FC with ad-hoc projects to enhance the purchase ledger function.
- Ensuring that all relevant invoices are posted and included for the month end deadline.
- Assisting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc projects when required.
Experience and skills required
- AAT qualified or similar
- Experience of purchase ledger processing
- Nominal Ledger experience
- Sage Intact Experience - Essential
- Good Team Player
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to enhance/review current systems
- Knowledge of utilities - would be advantageous
