At Adaptable Recruitment we are exclusively supporting a well-established, mission-driven organisation in Liverpool to recruit an Executive Assistant. This role provides dedicated support to senior leaders, ensuring smooth coordination of diaries, governance activity, and key organisational priorities.
Salary: up to £37,000 DOE per annum (pro rata, depending on hours)
Location: Liverpool with some North West travel - hybrid working available (after training)
Working pattern: Permanent role, 30–37.5 hours per week (flexible)
Benefits: 27 days plus bank holidays, day off for birthday. Enhanced Benefits Package
About the Role: A key Executive Assistant position supporting senior leaders within a purpose-driven organisation. You’ll play a central role in keeping priorities, governance, and day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Main Responsibilities to Include:
- Manage the Chief Executive’s diary, meetings, and forward planning
- Coordinate agendas, minutes, follow up actions, and board/governance processes
- Draft correspondence, manage inboxes, and handle confidential information
- Support senior leaders with travel, expenses, briefing packs, and planning
- Oversee administrative workflows, approvals, and documentation
- Prepare reports, track key organisational activities, and monitor the Risk Register
- Provide project support on new initiatives and cross team activities
- Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator with confident written and verbal skills
- Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable using initiative
- Experienced in minute taking, report writing, and handling sensitive information
- Comfortable managing a busy workload and supporting senior leaders
- Collaborative, supportive, and able to build positive relationships
