I'm supporting a well-established and fast-paced FMCG business in Liverpool to recruit an HR Assistant to join their growing HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some prior HR experience who is looking to build their skills within a busy, operational environment.

The Role

Working as part of a small, supportive HR team, the HR Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of HR processes across the site. This is a hands-on, administrative-focused role with exposure to a range of HR activities, including onboarding, employee relations support, and recruitment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day HR administrative support to the wider HR team
  • Acting as a first point of contact for basic HR queries from employees and managers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems
  • Preparing documentation including contracts, offer letters, and leaver paperwork
  • Supporting the onboarding and induction process for new starters
  • Assisting with recruitment activity, including posting adverts and arranging interviews
  • Supporting the HR team with employee relations administration, including note-taking and file preparation
  • Ensuring HR processes are followed in line with company policies
