Our legal client is seeking a Data Scientist to drive innovation and strengthen its value proposition to insurer partners. This role sits at the heart of the organisation's data and analytics capability, working closely with teams across the business to improve data quality, accessibility and decision making. You will analyse complex datasets, build predictive models and translate insight into outcomes that support both commercial and operational confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process and analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Design, develop and maintain data models, algorithms and predictive analytics solutions
  • Create dashboards and reports in Power BI to clearly visualise insights and performance metrics
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver data driven solutions

Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling and machine learning techniques
  • Strong skills in Python, R and/or SQL with experience using Power BI for data visualisation
  • Commercial awareness with strong communication skills and the ability to influence
