Adaptable Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established business within the manufacturing sector who are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in sales management and business development, who has led on strategy and can demonstrate successful implementation and results.
What you will be doing:
- Managing and growing key client accounts
- Driving new business and identifying growth opportunities
- Leading, developing and managing a sales team
- Leading on commercial strategy and implementation
- Setting, implementing and monitoring commercial strategy and KPIs
- Taking ownership of performance, with some responsibility for P&L
- Building strong client relationships and delivering a high level of customer service
- Supporting forecasting, contract negotiations and market analysis
- Analysing performance data and reporting on sales activity
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in account management and business development
- Experience managing a team and leading on commercial strategy
- Demonstrable success in strategy implementation and delivering results
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a results-driven approach
- Background in a construction, engineering or industrial sector is advantageous
