Key Responsibilities- Installing fire doors and frames in accordance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g. BS 8214)
- Ensuring accurate fitting, alignment, and compliant door gaps to maintain fire and smoke integrity
- Fitting and adjusting ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, intumescent strips, and smoke seals
- Carrying out post-installation checks to ensure doors close, latch, and perform correctly under fire safety requirements
- Completing installation records, compliance paperwork, and certification to meet legal and client requirements
- Essential:
- NVQ L2 joiner minimum
- CSCS card valid
- FIRAS installers number obtained
- Driver with own vehicle, preferred VAN
- Desirable:
- SSSTS / NVQL3 site supervisor obtained
- First Aid @ work completed
- Full onboarding and mandatory training provided
