The Role
We're looking for a Pension Property Administrator to join a growing pensions team, supporting the administration of commercial property within pension schemes. This is a great opportunity for someone with SIPP experience and some exposure to property cases who is looking to build their technical knowledge and develop their career within a specialist area. You'll work closely with experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience in property transactions, SSAS cases, and more complex pension arrangements over time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the administration of SIPP and SSAS property cases
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, advisers, and third parties
- Assisting with commercial property purchases, sales, and ongoing management
- Liaising with solicitors, valuers, lenders, and managing agents
- Processing documentation including leases, contracts, and rent schedules
- Supporting rent collection and general property administration tasks
- Assisting with VAT and property-related requirements
- Maintaining accurate scheme records in line with HMRC guidelines
- Supporting the team with compliance checks and reporting requirements
- Developing knowledge of SSAS loanbacks and more complex transactions over time
What We're Looking For
- Experience in SIPP administration (12-36 months+)
- Some exposure to property within pension schemes (desirable, not essential)
- Good understanding of pension administration processes
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist area
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SSAS schemes
- Experience supporting property transactions
- Studying towards PMI/CII qualifications
